Kym Juntti, Director of the Center for Positive Living Supports

Juntti has been a trainer at MORC for 13 years and involved with Gentle Teaching for 20 years.  She helped develop the introductory Gentle Teaching training for the Michigan statewide caregiver training curriculum.  Juntti also changed the culture of a large vocational program to one of gentleness.  She has trained thousands of caregivers in the principles of Gentle Teaching.

Diane Lindsay, Director of Clinical Operations, MORC

Lindsay was at the forefront in 1987 of spreading Gentle Teaching throughout the MORC system of over 100 nonprofit providers and MORC support and clinical staff.  Lindsay, a psychologist, now directs the psychology, nursing, speech and language, occupational therapy, nutritional services, psychiatry and therapeutic recreation departments.  She has been featured in numerous teaching videos.

Michael Vincent, Director of Training, MORC

Mike has been with MORC Inc. and directly involved with Gentle Teaching since 1987.  He helped develop the training curriculum currently in use to bring Gentle Teaching to the care giving role.  He has trained more than 25,000 direct care staff in the principles of gentleness and co-facilitated more than 30 Gentle Teaching practica.  He is an eight time presenter (2001-2008) at the annual Gentle Teaching International conference.

John Williams, Senior Management Consultant

Williams helped pioneer Gentle Teaching in community homes for people who were struggling.  Williams runs a non-profit with caregivers that support 100 people in apartments and group homes.  Williams was one of the first providers to embrace Gentle Teaching in his homes and has welcomed many individuals who present the most difficult challenges.  He is also the director of Transitions, a temporary crisis home with the Center, and he leads the mobile team services.

Ed Kiefer, Senior Training Consultant

Kiefer was a caregiver in a group home before becoming a supports coordinator with MORC.  He now provides training in Gentle Teaching around the State.

Deirdre Mercer, Senior Training Consultant

Mercer has worked as a social worker and administrator for 17 years and since 1997 has mentored and facilitated numerous Gentle Teaching practica and trainings through MORC.  She is also providing training statewide.

Patricia Watts, Supports Coordinator

Watts has worked as a supports coordinator with MORC for 13 years.  She provides training and consultation statewide as well.
